hand spun galery
I wove this scarf on my rigid heddle loom. The background sections are woven in plain weave with a Merino/Silk blend. The inlay is a hand manipulated weave and called Spanish lace.
The scarf is very light and extremely soft, and will provide warmth on cool evenings.

I wove this scarf on my 8-shaft floor loom.
This shawl is woven in pure, soft Merino wool. The Seamist colored sections are hand-spun.

The use of an old lace pattern (huck lace) in geometric shapes gives this elegant shawl a modern touch.
The shawl is very light and extremely soft, and will provide warmth on cool evenings.
